801 South Oak Park Avenue

This project involved the new construction of a 4-story mixed use rental affordable housing project with 35 units, 2 ground floor live/work units and 1 ground floor commercial space.

2IM represented the affordable housing development in front of the Village of Oak Park, Planning Commission. 2IM proposed utility connections and a storm sewer starting from a new parking lot and connecting to the existing combined sewer. 2IM designed ADA compliant sidewalk curb ramps and new curbs and gutters along Van Buren Street and Oak Park Avenue. This also involved resurfacing existing pavements and removal and replacement of alley apron and existing curb ramps along these streets. They created new pavement markings for crosswalks, street parking, and stop bars.

2IM was responsible for the erosion and sediment control plan for existing and proposed drainage structures. They also created the plan and profile sheet for utility connection for this project.
